United States: U.S. health officials say that almost 60 people have gotten sick from eating Diamond Shruumz edibles, like chocolate bars, cones, and gummies. They also reported that 30 of these people had to go to the hospital, and sadly, one person has died.
People who ate these products have had serious problems like seizures, feeling very upset, weird heartbeats, and passing out. Right now, 27 states have cases, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) thinks there will be more.

The CDC hasn’t said how many of these cases were kids, but at least two children were hospitalized in Arizona. Two more kids had mild problems from the product. Banner Health was one of the first to warn about these dangerous edibles after patients got very sick.
As reported in U.S. News, Steve Dudley from the Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center said they saw people eating the chocolate bars and then having seizures and passing out.
Last month, the company that makes these edibles recalled all of their products because they found dangerous mushroom toxins in them.
“Muscimol could be a potential cause of symptoms consistent with those observed in persons who became ill after eating Diamond Shruumz products,” the company added. Reported symptoms include seizures, agitation, involuntary muscle contractions, loss of consciousness, confusion, sleepiness, nausea and vomiting, abnormal heart rates and high/low blood pressure.
FDA Concerns:
FDA advised the consumers not to eat these microdosing chocolate bars, few weeks ago and warning people in four states had fallen ill and some had to be intubated.
These particular recalled products were distributed nationwide through retail stores and mail order.
